PET of the MONTH
Tilley
Tilley has been a patient at our clinic since 2002. In March Tilley's owner noticed that she was asking to go outside more often than usual and seemed to be squatting in several places and straining to urinate. Upon presenting Tilley to the clinic it was determined that Tilley had urinary calculi (stones in her bladder). Tilley was admitted to the hospital for surgical removal of the stones and has had a wonderful recovery. She is urinating normal amounts and all signs of discomfort have resolved. Post surgical urine tests will still be required several times a year and a prescription diet will be required to ensure Tilley does not get a recurrence of the urinary bladder stones.
Congratulations to Tilley and her owners on providing outstanding care to a very important member of their family! Click here to learn more about
